hardware Engineering intern

All internships at Nalu Scientific are project-based, you’ll be given tasks to work with limited supervision with a technical mentor. As a hardware intern you will have a hand in helping to develop the electronics that work with our developed ASICs. Duties will range from circuit simulation and development to hardware test and measurement and assembly.

Interns are expected to have excellent time management and independent working skills. Following national and local guidelines on safely working with COVID-19 the internship will be a hybrid of office and at home work. The length of the internship is flexible but interns are expected to work approximately 15 hours per week.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Completed basic circuit coursework or equivalent

Experience reading & understanding schematics and datasheets

Experience utilizing basic test equipment (power supplies, DMM, o-scope)

Programming interest

US Citizen or existing work visa

desired SKILLS:

Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture

Experience with SPICE circuit simulation

Familiar with Python scripting

Familiar with utilizing Numpy tools for data analysis and visualization

Experience with test processes

COMPENSATION:

Commensurate with experience
